How COLOR defines your business BRAND

December 4, 2014 by DPKGraphics

Have you ever considered the importance of COLOR in branding for your business?

Coke uses red. UPS uses brown. IBM uses blue. These corporations understand the proper use of color.  It is vital in creating a positive image among consumers. COLOR plays a huge role in memory recall. It stimulates all the senses and instantly conveys a VISUAL message.

Choosing the right color(s) for your brand is crucial. This color should appear on your logo design,  your promotional materials, and product packaging. The color you choose should set you apart, work with your industry and image, and tie to your brand promise. It should also take into account color psychology, culture, and situation.

Here is an awesome infographic that I found that goes into detail about each color and what they can represent, both positive and negative.  Take all things into consideration.  I personally, like the “mutli-color” option which (according to the infographic) evokes creativity and innovation.  But you have to choose the color scheme that is right for YOU and YOUR BUSINESS.
